The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Avenue Road, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst manhole frame and cover works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 20/8/26 between the hours of 09:30 – 15:30. The following road is affected: Avenue Road, Newport from its jcn with Avenue Rd South for approx. 10m in an easterly and westerly direction. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 20/8/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
