TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MIDLAND ROAD, HEANOR
WHEN: 26 August to 27 August 2026 (Between 19:00 to 06:00).
WHERE: Midland Road, Heanor, from Jct. of High Street for approx. 20m.
REASON: To facilitate meter repair.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: High Street, Market Street, Fletcher Street, Burton Street, Midland Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
