Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 6th August 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (RUDCHESTERS, BANCROFT) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2446)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Rudchesters, Bancroft – from outside number 8 to outside number 12
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 17th – 19th August 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STATION ROAD (PART), WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (No.2) (Reference TTRO-2443)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Network Rail undertake maintenance works at the level crossing:
Station Road, Woburn Sands – from its junction with Summerlin Drive to its junction with Turnpike Court.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Newport Road, A421, Bedford Road, Salford Road, A507, A4012, Turnpike Road and Crawley Road (vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 17th to 19th August 2026 9:30pm to 5:00am each night and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (NEWTON ROAD (PART), HARDMEAD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2468)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Openreach undertake works:
Newton Road, Hardmead – from Newport Pagnell Road to The Close
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Newport Pagnell Road and Turvey Road (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect between 17th to 21st August 2026 from 9:30am to 3:30pm and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FULMER STREET (PART), SHENLEY WOOD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2375)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Hutchinson 3G undertake works:
Fulmer Street, Shenley Wood – Its northbound carriageway from Childs Way to Chalkdell Drive
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Childs Way, Tattenhoe Street and Portway.
The road closure will be in effect on 19th and 20th August 2026 between 9:30am and 3:30pm and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 014 MOULSOE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (No.2) (Reference TTRO-2375)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of footpath whilst development works are undertaken:
Footpath 14 Moulsoe – from its junction with Newport Pagnell Football Club for approximately 865 meters. Whilst the above footpath is closed there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 15th August 2026 to 15th February 2027 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council on 4th August 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) and 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: 
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WALNUT TREE ROUNDABOUT, WALNUT TREE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2446)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst O2 undertake works to a telecoms mast:
3rd August 2026 – 31st March 2027
Walnut Tree Roundabout – between its northern and southern islands and its inner ring (preventing east to west travel and vice versa).
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Tongwell Street or Groveway.
The road closure will be in effect from 9th – 13th August 2026 between 8:00pm and 6:00am and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MARSH DRIVE (PART), GREAT LINFORD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2443)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Hutchinson 3G undertake works to a telecoms pole:
Marsh Drive, Great Linford – from Woad Lane to France Furlong
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via St Leger Drive, Monks Way, Brickhill Street and Wolverton Road (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 10th to 13th August 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WINCHESTER CIRCLE (PART), KINGSTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2463)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Openreach undertake works:
Winchester Circle, Kingston – its northbound carriageway from the car park opposite to Mc Donalds to opposite the entrance to the petrol station.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Tongwell Street and Standing Way or Tongwell Street and Chippenham Drive.
The road closure will be in effect between 10th to 21st August 2026 from 7:00pm to 6:00am and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY TMA04 (PART), TWO MILE ASH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2440)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of redway whilst Aurora Utilities undertake works:
Redway TMA04, Two Mile Ash – from its junction with Redway TMA06 for 55 metres.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Redway TMA06 and Redway TMA01 (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect between 11th to 13th August 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
