Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No 88, Order 2026 Notice is hereby given that on 28/07/26 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Scarborough) Consolidation Order 2007” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Schedule - Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions Filey, Queen’s Terrace, East side from a point 56 metres north of its junction with the U309 West Road to a point 63 metres north of its junction with the U309 West Road - Disabled parking bay. A copy of the Order, which comes into force on 10/08/26, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at North Yorkshire County Library, Station Avenue, Filey, YO14 9AE during normal office hours from 06/08/26 to 08/09/26 & also viewed online at

If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 28/07/26 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
