What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SCHOOL LANE, STANTON BY DALE
WHEN: 24 August to 04 September 2026 (for any 5 days within the period given 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays).
WHERE: School Lane, Stanton by Dale between the Jct. of Main Street and the Jct. of No Man's Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Rushy Lane, Derby Road, Town Street, Ilkeston Road, Lows Lane, Seven Oaks Road, Quarry Hill and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
