Temporary Prohibition of Use of Footpath 22, Footpath 23 & Footpath 30 West Felton Shropshire Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order temporarily prohibiting the use of Footpaths 22, 23 & 30 in West Felton from where Footpath 22 leaves the road by St Chads Church at grid reference SJ 3719 2703 travelling in a south westerly direction over the railway line, continuing through Quarry Wood as Footpath 23 before becoming Footpath 30 and meeting Footpath 28 at grid reference SJ 3686 2584.
The Order will come into operation on 16th August 2026 for a period of up to 6 months or until works are completed whichever is soonest. Works are expected to end at the end of August 2026. The closure is required so that essential track renewal works can take place.
There is no alternative route available.
