TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
RECTORY ROAD, CLOWNE
WHEN: 24 August to 25 August 2026
WHERE: Rectory Road, Clowne from its Jct. with Mill Street for a distance of 45m in an easterly direction.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway remedial works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise - Rectory Road, Church Street, Mill Street, Mill Green Way,
B6417, North Road. Anti - Clockwise - Mill Street, Church Street, Rectory Road.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
