Salford - Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford proposes to make the: CITY OF SALFORD (ELLENBROOK ROAD, LEIGH ROAD AND HOLLINSWOOD ROAD, BOOTHSTOWN) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on the following Roads:

A572 Leigh Road: (i) North side, from a point 2.6 metres west of the easterly extended kerbline of Hollinswood Road, for a distance of 78.5 metres in a westerly

direction, (ii) South side, from a point 10 metres west of the westerly extended kerbline of Hollinswood Road, to a point 10 metres east of the easterly extended kerbline of Hollinswood Road.

Ellenbrook Road (Western access Road): (i)West side, from the northerly extended kerbline of Leigh Road, for a distance of 42.4 metres in a north easterly direction, (ii) Southeast side, from the northerly extended kerbline of Leigh Road, to its junction with Ellenbrook Road. 

Ellenbrook Road: (i) South-west side, from the northerly extended kerbline of Leigh Road, to its junction with Ellenbrook Road (Western Access Road), 

(ii) North-east side, from the northerly extended kerbline of Leigh Road, for a distance of 40.2 metres in a north-westerly direction. Hollinswood Road: Both sides, from the southerly extended kerbline of Leigh Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

The proposed documents may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
