What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (A3095 MILL LANE, HANWORTH ROUNDABOUT, A3095 CROWTHORNE ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along:

a) A3095 Mill Lane from the roundabout with Wildridings until A3095 Crowthorne Road at the junction with B3430 Nine Mile Ride including Hanworth Roundabout.

The alternative route for this closure is:

a) B3430 Nine Mile Ride, A322 Bagshot Road, A3095 Mill Lane, Ringmead, Great Hollands Road, Ringmead and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry lining works in the carriageway.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 7th September 2026 from 06:00 until 20:00, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the footpath closure will be in place until 9th September.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
