Blackthorn Walk - Temporary Footpath Closure Due To Telecommunication Works

Temporary Footpath Closure-Blackthorn Walk, Havant

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

Footpath To Be Closed: that part of Blackthorn Walk between its junction with a point south of no.14 Meadowsweet and its junction with a point opposite no.11 Meadowsweet.

Alternative Route: opposite no.14 Meadowsweet, to opposite no.3 Meadowsweet, to opposite no.1 Meadowsweet, to south of no.15 Grassmere Way to opposite no.12 Blackthorn walk, to south of no.11 Meadowsweet.

Duration Of Order: from 18th August 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working full time).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for KNTC to carry out telecommunication works.
