(Railway Street) (20mph Speed Limit) Order, 2026
Notice is hereby given that The City Council of Liverpool proposes to make the above- mentioned Order under Sections 1, 2 & 84 to The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from being driven at a speed exceeding 20mph on the entire length of Railway Street.
A copy of the Order, the plan and statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the same may be inspected at The Planning & Regulatory Team, City Law & Governance, Legal Services, 4th Floor, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH & at the offices of Transport & Highways, Parking and Traffic Orders Team, 4th Floor, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive. If you wish to make representations about the proposals you should send the grounds for your objection to or support for the same, in writing to the under signed on or before the 3 September 2026. Please ensure to quote the Ref: - CLG/LS/PRT/ NRB/TRO 10587/TM 3726 in your correspondence.

In the event of there being objections received to the Order, which remain un-withdrawn, they will be considered before any decision is made on whether or not to make the Order operative.
