Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U33249 Studley Road Service Road/U33422 Warwick Highway Exit Slip Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – U33249 Studley Rd Service Rd from its junction with U33201 Watery Ln to its junction with U33200 Studley Rd.

Closure 2 – U33422 Warwick Highway Exit Slip Rd from its junction with A4189 Warwick Highway to its junction with U33200 Studley Rd.

Reason: Remedial works by STW.

Alternative route: Diversion for Closure 1 – U33200 Studley Rd and vice versa. Diversion for Closure 2 – A4189 Warwick Highway, A448 Alcester Highway, A441 Alcester Highway, A441 Rough Hill Roundabout, A441 Alcester Highway (northbound), A448 Bromsgrove Highway, A4189 Warwick Highway (northbound), U33322 Warwick Highway and U33200 Studley Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 31 August 2026.

(U31042 Butlers Hill Lane, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U31042 Butlers Hill Ln from its junction with U31043 Claredon Cl to its junction with C2178 Brookhill Ln.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: B4184 Butlers Ln Roundabout, B4184 Brookhill Dr, B4184 Blackwell Ln Roundabout, U31045 Blackwell Ln, U31046 Carthorse Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 1 September 2026.

(U31220 Other Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) and The Urban District of Redditch (Other Road) ((One-Way Traffic) Order 1971 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U31220 Other Rd from its junction with U31230 Grove St to its junction with U32000 Easemore Rd and to temporarily suspend The Urban District of Redditch (Other Road) ((One-Way Traffic) Order 1971 to facilitate the diversion route to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of the work.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: A4023 Coventry Highway Roundabout, A4023 Coventry Highway, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A441 Riverside Roundabout, B4184 Middlehouse Ln, U31200 Birmingham Rd, U31200 Prospect Hill, U32000 Easemore Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 days (No Weekend Working). Commencing: 10 August 2026.

(U23424 Truemans Heath Lane, Truemans Heath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U23424 Truemans Heath Ln from its junction with The Fordrough (private road) for a distance of 150 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: New Gas Main by Cadent.

Alternative route: C2041 Hollywood Ln, C2041 Lea Green Ln, C2041 Norton Ln into Solihull U23424 Tilehouse Ln, U23424 Haslucks Green Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 days (24hrs). Commencing: 10 August 2026.

(U43402 Dogbut Lane, Astwood Bank) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U43402 Dogbut Ln from its junction with U43407 Wood Ln to its junction with B4092 Mill Post Ln to Edgiock Crossroads.

Reason: Replacement gas main by National Grid Electricity.

Alternative route: B4092 Mill Post Ln to Edgiock Crossroads, B4090 Salt Way, A441 The Ridgeway, U43402 Church Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 10 August 2026.

(U23402 Packhorse Lane, Hollywood) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U23402 Packhorse Ln from its junction with U23403 Baccabox Ln to its junction with C2040 Middle Ln.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2040 Middle Ln, C2036 Silver St, C2180 Alcester Rd, U23402 Packhorse Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 10 August 2026.

(Link Footpath F30211 Shawbury Close, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F30211 Shawbury Cl from its junction with U32418 Shawbury Cl for a distance of 30 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: Link Footpath F30211 junction (OS no. 3/4) Romsley Cl, Link Footpath F30211 Shawbury Cl, U32418 Shawbury Cl and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 10 August 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

Worcestershire County Council (Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2026 [Disabled Persons’ Parking Space on Fulbrook Close, Redditch]

On 23 July 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons’ parking space on the following length and side of road in Redditch:-

Fulbrook Close (Southeast corner): from a point 92 metres from the entrance to the east side of Fulbrook Close.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 13 August 2026.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
