PART OF BRIDGE LANE, RAWCLIFFE BRIDGE
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Bridge Lane, Rawcliffe Bridge commencing 13 August 2026 at 20.00 hours until 06.00 hours on 14 August 2026 to allow National Highways to undertake structural surveys on the bridge at Bridge Lane, Rawcliffe Bridge. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within ten hours. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Bridge Lane, Thorne Road, Johnny Moor Long Lane, Moorends Road, North Common Road, Selby Road, Snaith Road, Mill Lane and New Lane, Thorne CP, Rawcliffe CP, Snaith and Cowick CP, Thorne and Moorends Ward, Snaith, Airmyn, Rawcliffe and Marshland Ward.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all traffic.
There are no residental properties at the location who require access to maintained.
