What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council (“the Council”) proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act), and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: No waiting at any time Sun Lane, west: (i) between a point 22 metres south of its junction with Sun Hill Crescent (southern junction) and a point 44 metres north thereof. (ii) between a point 20 metres south of its junction with Sun Hill Crescent (northern junction) and a point 18 metres north of its access road to Sun Hill Infants School. (iii) between a point 63 metres north of the access road to Sun Hill Infants School and a point 210 metres south of its junction with Nursery Road. (iv) between a point 165 metres south of its junction with Nursery Road and a point 20 metres north thereof. (v) between a point 105 metres south of its junction with Nursery Road and a point 25 metres north thereof. Sun Lane, east, between a point 22 metres south of its junction with Sun Hill Crescent (southern junction) and a point 15 metres south of its junction with Langtons Court an approximate distance of 716 metres. Sun Hill Crescent, both sides, between its southern junction with Sun Lane and a point 10 metres west thereof. Sun Hill Crescent, north, between its northern junction with Sun Lane and a point 10 metres west thereof. Sun Hill Crescent, south, from its junction with Sun Lane and a point 60 metres west thereof. Infant School Access Road, both sides, from its junction with Sun Lane for its entire length. Endeavour Way, both sides, between its roundabout junction with Sun Lane and a point 35 metres north-eastwards thereof. Park And Stride Access Road, both sides, between its junction with Sun Lane and a point 5 metres east thereof.

OBJECTIONS AND OTHER REPRESENTATIONS: All objections/other representations in respect of this proposal must be made in writing to The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD or email public.notices@hants.gov.uk quoting reference:- A2167/DL, by Friday 4th September 2026. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
