THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:
Obstructive parking continues to impact Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service (LFRS) with vehicles regularly parking on double yellow lines along Weston Drive.
This includes parking in other locations on Weston Drive which prevent the Fire & Rescue staff from reaching the on-call station to mobilise for an emergency.
It is proposed to extend the existing No Waiting at Any Time restrictions along Weston Drive to ensure fluent access and egress from the station.

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:
To introduce mandatory School Keep Clear markings outside the entrances to St Simon & St Jude Primary School, Astley Road, Earl Shilton. The restrictions are being advertised due to concerns raised by the school to the County Council; regarding vehicles parking closely to the school entrance, restricting visibility and creating a dangerous environment for children entering and exiting the school.
Restrictions are being proposed, between Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.

To amend the existing mandatory School Keep-Clear markings outside the entrance to Hinckley Parks Primary School, Butt Lane, Hinckley. The current mandatory School Keep Clear restrictions are in force ‘Mon-Fri 8am-5pm’ All mandatory keep clear restrictions are uniformed across Leicestershire for consistency and to enable regular enforcement with our camera enforcement vehicle.
The amendment proposes to change the existing restrictions to Monday to Friday 8am-4pm in-line with all other school markings across Leicestershire and continue to create a safe environment outside of the school gates.
