Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin.

This prohibition is necessary for service connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th August 2026 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1830, weekdays only.

Road affected - Wadebridge Road, Bodmin from near property known as The Lodge to near entrance to Jorys Meadow.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay.

This prohibition is necessary for ground investigation works around rail bridge and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th August 2026 to 20th August 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Padstow.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th September 2026 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1600, weekends included.

The County of Cornwall (Highfield Avenue, St Austell) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Stopping) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 3rd August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell.

This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th August 2026 to 21st August 2026. Road subject to prohibition - Highfield Avenue, St Austell for its entire length.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in St Austell.

Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of this Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Road subject to stopping prohibition - Highfield Avenue, St Austell for its entire length.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge.

This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd September 2026 to 4th December 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Polmorla Road from No 1 Woodside to junction with The Platt, Fair Park Road from junction with Polmorla Road to No 16 Polmear Court, Park Road from junction with Blackwell Place to junction with Foundry Terrace, Foundry Terrace for its entire length, Foundry Street from junction with Foundry Terrace to junction with Chapel Lane, Wadebridge.

Temporary One-Way Traffic Restriction Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary one-way restriction over an area of highway being Cliff Road, Newquay Between Narrow Cliff junction with Edgcumbe Avenue and Cliff Road junction with Oakleigh Terrace in an easterly to westerly direction.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because highway improvement works are being executed on or near the road support the construction of the Mid Cornwall Metro. The Order will come into operation on 4th September 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 31st March 2027. 

The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day weekends included.

Nothing in this order will apply to anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Tintagel.

This prohibition is necessary for works to replace the water pipe and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st September 2026 to 11th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Bossiney Road To Trevillet Road, Tintagel between properties known as Bossiney Cove Cottage and Appletree Cottage.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 12th April 2026 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Mount Road, Bodmin from junction with Lower Road to grid reference SX 14130 68193.

The Order which commenced on the 13th April 2026 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 28th August 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed due to a collapsed cattle grid.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. 

Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
