What is happening?
Somerset Council A356 Station Road, Crewkerne in the Parish of Crewkerne (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that on the 31st day of July 2026 Somerset Council made the above Order in exercise of the provisions of Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 22nd day of July 2026, to introduce temporary traffic restrictions on the road specified in the Schedules below. This Order will come into operation on the 5th day of August 2026 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on the 10th day of August 2026 until the 14th day of August 2026 (between 0700 hours and 1900 hours) to enable Champion Groundworks Limited, working on behalf of Taylor Wimpey to carry out resurfacing works. The restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs. Exemptions are provided in the Order for emergency vehicles.
