The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.14) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped eastern part width of Redruth Road at its junction with Old Newark Road at Mansfield, in the District of Mansfield. This is to enable development as permitted by Mansfield District Council under reference 2024/0309/RES.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@ dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO1702760). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Mansfield District Council, Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, NG19 7BH.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 5 August 2026.
