Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu, heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o 04/08/2026, wneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (U5065 Sarnau, Llandysul) (Gwahardd Traffig Trwodd Dros Dro) 2026 er mwyn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y briffordd honno. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr. Ar gau 24 awr bob dydd. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r de-orllewin o fan i’r dwyrain o’r ffordd sydd ar gau yw teithio ar hyd yr U5072 i’r gyffordd â’r C1012. Trowch i’r chwith i’r C1012 a theithio i’r gyffordd â’r U5067. Trowch i’r chwith i’r U5067 a theithio i’r gyffordd â’r U5065. Trowch i’r chwith i’r U5065 a theithio i fan i’r de-orllewin o’r ffordd sydd ar gau; ac yn y drefn arall. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 1.9 milltir. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r dwyrain a thua’r de-orllewin o fan i’r gogledd-orllewin o’r ffordd sydd ar gau ar yr U5065 yw teithio ar hyd yr U5065 i’r gyffordd â’r C1012 a dilyn y gwyriad presennol (gan droi i’r dde ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r dwyrain neu droi i’r chwith ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r de-orllewin); ac yn y drefn arall. Y bwriad yw y bydd y Gorchymyn yn dod i rym ar 27/08/2026 a bydd yn parhau nes bod gwaith adnewyddu’r prif gyflenwad sment asbestos presennol ar gyfer Dwr Cymru wedi’i gwblhau – tua 4 mis. Efallai y gwna’r Gorchymyn barhau mewn grym am 18 mis.

Ceredigion County Council

The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 04/08/2026, to make the Ceredigion County Council (U5065 Sarnau, Llandysul) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. Closed 24 hours daily. The alternative route for south-westbound traffic from a point east of the closure is to travel along the U5072 to its junction with the C1012. Turn left onto the C1012 and travel to its junction with the U5067. Turn left onto the U5067 and travel to its junction with the U5065. Turn left onto the U5065 and travel to a point south-west of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 1.9 miles. The alternative route for eastbound and south-westbound traffic from a point north-west of the closure on the U5065 is to travel along the U5065 to its junction with the C1012 and follow existing diversion (turning right for east bound traffic or turning left for south-west bound traffic); and vice versa. It is intended that the Order will come into force on 27/08/2026 and will continue until renewal works of the existing asbestos cement mains for Welsh Water have been completed – approximately 4 months. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
