BEVERLEY FOOTPATH NO 20 AND WOODMANSEY FOOTPATH NO 17
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from proceeding on foot along Beverley Footpath No 20 and Woodmansey Footpath No 17. The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed construction works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed within one month. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Peters Way, Minster Way, Hull Road, Beckside and Flemingate.
The Order will commence 10 August 2026 and continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.
