What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(TWICKENHAM ROAD ETC, KINGSTANDING)
(20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will be as follows:
• To introduce 20mph Speed limit on TWICKENHAM ROAD, CAXTON GROVE, CHINLEY GROVE, GAINFORD ROAD, HOMERTON ROAD, PARKESTON CRESCENT, PETERSHAM ROAD, RIVINGTON CRESCENT, TOTTENHAM CRESCENT & WALTHAM GROVE, KINGSTANDING.
The Order will come into operation on 7th August 2026.

If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order may within 6 weeks from 6th August 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
