SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
(PARISH OF THORNHAM MAGNA) (FOOTPATH 10 (PART) FOOTPATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
On 15/07/2026 Suffolk County Council confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert part of Thornham Magna Footpath 10 from its existing route from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) 60868,27130 proceeding in a generally easterly direction to terminate at its junction with Thornham Magna Footpath 11 at OSGR 60893,27128; to a new line which still commences at OSGR 60868,27130 then proceeds in a generally easterly direction for a distance of 118 metres to OSGR 60880,27130, then proceeding in a generally north easterly direction for a distance of 71 metres to OSGR 60886,27134, and then proceeding in a generally easterly direction for a distance of 77 metres to its junction with Thornham Magna Footpath no 11 at OSGR 60893,27134.

The order comes into force on 08/09/2026 but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, they may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court.
