What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 - Spa Road / New Holder Street Temporary Closures

The Council has made an order, operative from 10 August 2026 for 2 weeks approx.

The effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Spa Road from Queensbrook to New Holder Street and on New Holder Street from Spa Road to Garstang Street, to allow electricity works to take place.

Alternative route is via Moor Lane, Deane Road, College Way, Mayor Street.

The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
