Wrexham - Temporary Public Footpath Closures Due To Bridge Replacement Works

Hysbysir drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, wedi gwneud gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd unrhyw berson (ac eithrio unrhyw gontractwr sy’n mynd o reidrwydd i neu o’r gwaith hwnnw) rhag teithio ar hyd y llwybrau troed cyhoeddus canlynol:

Llwybr cyhoeddus 25 Wrecsam yn dechrau o’r B5099 Ffordd y Bers yn SJ 3212 4962 ac yn parhau tua’r de yn gyffredinol am oddeutu 210 metr i’r gyffordd ag Esclys Islaw llwybr cyhoeddus 35 wrth y bont dros Afon Clywedog yn SJ 3210 4941.

Esclys Islaw llwybr cyhoeddus 35 o’r gyffordd â llwybr cyhoeddus 25 Wrecsam yn SJ 3210 4941 ac yn parhau tua’r de yn gyffredinol am oddeutu 15 metr i gwrdd â Lôn Esless yn SJ 3210 4940.

Mae angen y gorchymyn hwn er diogelwch y cyhoedd tra bo pont newydd yn cael ei chodi dros Afon Clywedog. Nid oes llwybr amgen addas.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 03 Awst 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 6 mis, neu nes bod y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau’n gynt, heb fod yn hirach na 6 mis.

Section 14 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Notice Of Making Of An Order - (Wrexham Public Footpath 25 And Esclusham Below Public Footpath 35) - Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Wrexham County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order which prohibits any person (with the exception of any contractor necessarily proceeding to or from the said works) from proceeding along the following public footpaths:

Wrexham public footpath 25 commencing from the B5099 Bersham Road at SJ 3212 4962 and continuing generally south for approximately 210 metres to the junction with Esclusham Below public footpath 35 at the bridge over the River Clywedog at SJ 3210 4941.

Esclusham Below public footpath 35 commencing from the junction with Wrexham public footpath 25 at SJ 3210 4941 and continuing generally south for approximately 15 metres to meet Esless Lane at SJ 3210 4940.

The closure is being made in the interests of public safety whilst the bridge over the River Clywedog is being replaced. There is no suitable alternative route.

The Order will come into force on 03 August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 6 months, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum duration of 6 months.
