THE A30 TRUNK ROAD (PATTESON’S CROSS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A30 trunk road in the County of Devon because of the likelihood of danger to the public.
The effect of the Order would be to authorise the closure of the A30 Eastbound exit slip road at Patteson’s Cross Junction.
These measures would be in the interests of road safety to ensure the safe control of traffic during the Beautiful Days Festival.
The event will take place on 20 August 2026.
During the closure, traffic would be diverted via junctions of the A30 and local roads.
The closure (which would not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) and diversion route would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the period of danger to the public.
The Order would come into force on 19 August 2026 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
