GARDENS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following
stretches of road:
l Castlecroft Road closed in both directions outside
property 174, at its junction with Windsor Gardens.
l Windsor Gardens closed in both directions at its junction
with Castlecroft Road, between properties 199a/201a
Castlecroft Road. Vehicular Diversion Route: Windmill
Lane, Castlecroft Avenue and vice versa.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 17 August 2026 until 20 August 2026.
The Order is required to facilitate a Long Comm Pipe
Renewal by Severn Trent Water.
