ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting pedestrians from
proceeding on Meredith Road footpath to Bealeys
Avenue.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of six
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 17th August 2026 until 12th February
2027.
The pedestrian diversion routes are: Pedestrian
diversion route 1: Bealeys Avenue and Meredith Road.
Pedestrian diversion route 2: Bealeys Avenue,
Blackwood Avenue and Meredith Road.
The Order is required to facilitate the construction of
two new bungalows by Harper Group.
