(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from turning left from Deans Road onto
Willenhall Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken 17 August 2026 until 31 August 2026.
The diversion route is: Stowheath Lane, Wellington Road,
Mount Pleasant, Willenhall Road (B4484), Moseley Road
and Willenhall Road.
The Order is required to facilitate Gas Mains Replacement
works by Cadent.
