PROPOSED NEW PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLE CROSSING FACILITIES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council propose to install the following pedestrian/cycle crossing facilities at the locations listed below to facilitate the safe crossing of pedestrians and cyclists:
TRINDLE ROAD To provide a traffic controlled ‘Toucan’ crossing across Trindle Road, approximately 15m south of its junction with Porter Street
CLAUGHTON ROAD NORTH To provide a parallel-type pedestrian and cycle crossing facility, containing a Zebra crossing, across Claughton Road North within 5m of its junction with Trindle Road.
PORTER STREET To provide a parallel-type pedestrian and cycle crossing facility, containing a Zebra crossing, across Porter Street within 5m of its junction with Trindle Road. In order to discuss this proposal with an officer of the Council, please telephone on 01384 815485. Appointments can also be made for the appropriate plan to be viewed at the Council offices in Lister Rd Depot, Dudley.

Any representations regarding the provision of this pedestrian facility should be submitted to the Group Engineer – Traffic and Road Safety, Growth & Infrastructure, Dudley MBC, Lister Road Depot, Lister Rd, Dudley, DY2 8JW stating the grounds on which they are made and should be received by no later than 02/09/2026
