WINFARTHING – B1077 Short Green from its junction with C208 Hall Road for 1600m north-westwards to facilitate resurfacing works between 19:00 and 06:00 from 3rd to 8th August 2026 (may continue until 19th September 2026). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

WORTWELL – U76153 Tunbeck Road from its junction with A143 Bungay Road for 60m northwards to facilitate patching works from 4th to 5th August 2026 (may continue until 16th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Tunbeck Road, Station Road, A143 Bungay Road (Wortwell, Alburgh). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

CLENCHWARTON – U21058 Wynnes Lane from 154m southeast of its junction with C26 Station Road for 51m south-eastwards to facilitate HRA patching works from 4th to 5th August 2026 (may continue until 16th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Wynnes Lane, Black Horse Road, Main Road, Station Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

DOWNHAM MARKET – C885 Bridge Street from its junction with U21430 Priory Road for 20m eastwards to facilitate access to manhole for cabling works between 09:00 and 15:00 on 2nd August 2026 (may continue until 13th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Bridge Street, Paradise Road. The works promoter is BT.

HILLINGTON – U23712 Lynn Road (Layby) from its westernmost junction with A148 Lynn Road (70m west of its junction with B1440 Sandringham Road) to its easternmost junction with A148 Lynn Road to facilitate HRA patching works of the layby from 6th to 7th August 2026 (may continue until 18th September 2026). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

HOLME-NEXT-THE-SEA – U22151 Westgate Street from 60m east of its junction with U22150 Beach Road for 30m eastwards to facilitate damaged boundary wall repair works. The Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 17th July 2026 that the road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) from 25th to 31st July 2026 (previously 20th to 24th July 2026) (may continue until 11th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Westgate, Peddars Way, Main Road, Beach Road. The works promoter is Grocott & Murfit Builders.

KING’S LYNN – A148 London Road from 20m northeast of its junction with U20620 Guanock Terrace for 25m north-eastwards to facilitate new duct and junction box installation works in the footway, traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload, including in pre-existing parking bays between 19:00 and 07:00 from 6th to 7th August 2026 (may continue until 18th September 2026). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Kelly Communications.

KING’S LYNN – U20743 Queensway from its junction with A1076 Gayton Road to its junction with U20741 Jermyn Road to facilitate junction reconstruction works from 3rd to 21st August 2026 (may continue until 2nd October 2026). Alternative route is via: Queensway, Kensington Road, Kent Road, Gayton Road. The works promoter is Norse Highways.

MARSHLAND ST. JAMES – U21043 Black Drove from its junction with U21043 School Road for 40m northwards to facilitate parapet fence repair works from 4th to 6th August 2026 (may continue until 17th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Black Drove, Middle Drove, School Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

STOKE FERRY – C548 Lynn Road from 7m east of its junction with C549 Furlong Road for 47m south-eastwards to facilitate HRA patching works between 08:00 and 17:30 on 6th August 2026 (may continue until 17th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Lynn Road, Wretton Road, Low Road, West Dereham Road, Wereham Bypass, Stoke Road (West Dereham, Wretton, Wereham, Stoke Ferry). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

TERRINGTON ST. JOHN – C12 School Road from 750m south of its junction with C570 Main Road for 50m southwards to facilitate surface water connection works from 3rd to 8th August 2026 (may continue until 19th September 2026). Alternative route is via: School Road, Low Road, Chapel Road, St Johns Road, Main Road (Marshland St. James, Tilney St. Lawrence, Terrington St. John). The works promoter is C J Rust Ltd.

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by traffic of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle tracks, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT), but may also be extended further by the Secretary of State.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
