Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 14(1), 14(2) and 15(8) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

ACLE — A Bridewell Lane from its junction with Old Road to its junction with The Street and B South Walsham Road from its junction with The Street for 670m westwards and C) The Street from its junction with South Walsham Road to its junction with Old Road and D) Old Road from 30m east of its junction with Bridwell Lane for 230m south-westwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works, the Roads A, B, C and D will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Roads A, B, C and D shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 10th to 21th August 2026 (may continue until 2nd October 2026). CAISTER-ON-SEA — U62235 Prince of Wales Road from its junction with U62279 Dover Court to its junction with U6245 Tyne Mews to facilitate patching and replacement gully works from 12th to 13th August 2026 (may continue until 24th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Prince of Wales Road, Norwich Road, Brooke Avenue, Breydon Way, Thames Way, Prince of Wales Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

CANTLEY, LIMPHENOE AND SOUTHWOOD — High Road from its junction with Cantley Road for 660m southwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works from 10th to 11th August 2026 (may continue until 22nd September 2026). Alternative route is via: Northbound: High Road, Norwich Road, Buckenham Road, Strumpshaw Road, Hassingham Road, Southbound: High Road, Southwood Road, Grove Road, Norwich Road, High Road (Beighton, Cantley, Limpenhoe and Southwood, Strumpshaw, Lingwood and Burlingham). CROMER — A) Harbord Road Footway from its junction with Mill Road for 27m eastwards and B) Mill Road Footway from its junction with Harbord Road for 47m southwards to facilitate gas main replacement works from 10th to 28th August 2026 (may continue until 9th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, Station Road, Salisbury Road. The works promoter is Cadent.

EDGEFIELD — C312 Church Lane from its junction with Rectory Road to its junction with The Green to facilitate carriageway repairs on 11th August 2026 (may continue until 22nd September 2026). Alternative route is via: Briston Road, Hunworth Road, Edgefield Road, The Green, Holt Road, B1149 Norwich Road, Church Lane (Edgefield, Holt, Stody). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

FAKENHAM — Irap Lane from its junction with Rudham Stile Lane for 30m northwards to facilitate new electrical connection works from 10th to 14th August 2026 (may continue until 25th September 2026). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is UK Power Distribution Ltd.

GREAT YARMOUTH — Trafalgar Road East from 8m west of its junction with Chapel Lane for 30m westwards to facilitate new gas connection works, traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 10th to 12th August 2026 (may continue until 23rd September 2026). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Cadent.

GREAT YARMOUTH — Magdalen Way from its junction with St Anne’s Crescent to its junction with Hertford Way (northbound carriageway only) to facilitate footway maintenance works from 10th August to 23rd October 2026 (may continue until 23rd April 2027). Alternative route is via: Trinity Avenue, St Annes Crescent, Christchurch Road, Oriel Avenue, Hertford Way. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

HEMBLINGTON — U59291 High Noon Lane from 30m north of its junction with U59320 Cutton Corner for 30m southwards to facilitate carriageway patching works on 13th August 2026 (may continue until 24th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Hemblington Hall Road, Ranworth Road, Bulecush Lane (Blofield, Hemblington). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

MARTHAM — U69349 Damgate Lane from 110m northwest of its junction with C456 Staithe Road to its junction with U69529 Damgate Back Lane to facilitate sewer connection works, the road will be temporarily subject to a 30mph speed restriction from 10th to 28th August 2026 (may continue until 9th October 2026). NEATISHEAD — U19076 King Street from its junction with U19071 School Road to its junction with U19076 Water Lane to facilitate duct installation and cabling works from 10th to 14th August 2026 (may continue until 25th September 2026). RAYNHAM — The Street from its junction with Hardlands Road for 30m northwards to facilitate stop tap replacement works from 13th to 15th August 2026 (may continue until 26th September 2026). SWANNINGTON WITH ALDERFORD AND LITTLE WITCHINGHAM — C270 Hall Road from 470m west of its junction with C260 Reepham Road for 50m westwards to facilitate new water connection works from 10th to 12th August 2026 (may continue until 23rd September 2026). DISS — A) U76270 Walcot Road from 57m east of its junction with U70006 Uplands Way for 200 metres eastwards and B) U76270 Walcot Road from its junction with C472 Heywood Road for 235m eastwards to facilitate gas main replacement works from 10th to 31st August 2026 (may continue until 28th February 2027). Alternative route is via: Mount Street, Sunnyside, B1077 Shelfanger Road/ Denmark Street, A1066 Park Road/ Victoria Road, Skelton Road, Frenze Road, Frenze Hall Lane. MARSHLAND ST. JAMES — C4 Middle Drove from 1800m south of its junction with C3 School Road for 170m southwards to facilitate cyclical maintenance and gulley cleaning works on Neeps Bridge between 05:00 and 17:00 on 11th August 2026 (may continue until 22nd September 2026). TERRINGTON ST. CLEMENT — C29 Northgate Way from 155m east of its junction with C30 Tower Road for 95m eastwards to facilitate water mains laying works. The Order continues the provisions of the Order dated 19th June 2026 that the road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) from 11th August to 14th September 2026 (previously 22nd June to 10th August 2026) (may continue until 11th December 2027). TILNEY ST. LAWRENCE — C11 Islington Road from 1745m southeast of its junction with C625 Lynn Road for 240m southwards to facilitate overhead cable repair works between 09:00 and 15:30 on 11th August 2026 (may continue until 22nd September 2026). WATLINGTON — C52 Station Road from 20m west of the railway level crossing to 20m east of the railway level crossing to facilitate panelly corrosion inspection and rail repair works between 22:30 and 05:00 from 11th to 13th August 2026 (may continue until 24th September 2026).
