What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(HONINGHAM, C174 TAVERHAM ROAD) (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) AMENDMENT ORDER 2026

The Norfolk County Council has made the aforementioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the 30th July 2026 and which will come into effect on the 3rd August 2026.

The effect of this Order is to amend The Norfolk County Council (Morton on the Hill, Weston Longville and Honingham, Various Roads) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2025 as follows:

Remove the following entry:

RoadDescription
C174/10 Taverham Roadfrom a point 38 metres north of its junction with the existing A47 for 395 metres northwards
Insert the following entry:

C174/10 Taverham Roadfrom a point 243 metres north of its junction at the Norwich Road Junction North Roundabout for 359 metres northwards
The effect of this amendment is a reduction by 36 metres to link in with the 30mph speed limit at the Norwich Road Junction North Roundabout promoted by the National Highways A47 North Tuddenham to Easton Development Consent Order 2022.

A copy of the Order, the Order being amended and a plan can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Broadland District Council, The Horizon Centre, Broadland Business Park, Peachman Way Norwich NR7 0WF, during normal office hours. (Online viewing is recommended).
