ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 25, SHOTLEY
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 25, Shotley from Restricted Byway 27 for 100 metres south eastbound for safety reasons during building works at a property. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be around the property.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/08/2026 - 31/10/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C444 CHURCH ROAD, BATTISFORD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C444 Church Road, Battisford from the junction with School Lane to The Parish Room to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Church Road, Hascot Hill, Battisford Road, the B1078, Lower Farm Road, Stowmarket Road, Straight Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/06/2026 - 02/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE A143 STANTON ROAD AND BURY ROAD, IXWORTH AND STANTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
• A143 Stanton Road, Ixworth
• A143 Bury Road, Stanton.
This is to facilitate remedial surface dressing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A143, the A140, the A14, the A143 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from midnight on 01/08/2026 - 5am on 03/08/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C440 ONEHOUSE ROAD, U4551 THIRLMERE DRIVE AND U4540 WINDERMERE ROAD, STOWMARKET
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
1. • C440 Onehouse Road, Stowmarket from no. 105 Thirlmere Drive to the junction with Gainsborough Road
• U4551 Thirlmere Drive, Stowmarket from the junction with Onehouse Road to the junction at no. 103 Thirlmere Drive
2. C440 Onehouse Road, Stowmarket from the junction with Gainsborough Road to the junction with Windermere Road
3. • C440 Onehouse Road, Stowmarket from no. 49 to the junction with Windermere Road
• U4551 Thirlmere Drive, Stowmarket from the junction with Onehouse Road to no. 1 Thirlmere Drive
• C440 Onehouse Road, Stowmarket from the junction with Thirlmere Drive to the junction with Town Green
• U4540 Windermere Road, Stowmarket from the junction with Onehouse Road to no. 1 Windermere Road
5. C440 Onehouse Road, Stowmarket from the junction with Town Green to the B1115.
This is to facilitate a new gas connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
• for Onehouse Road - Union Road, Forest Road, Onehouse Road, Harleston, Haughley Road, Tot Hill, the A1308, the B1115 and vice versa.
• for Thirlmere Drive - Onehouse Road, Thirlmere Drive and vice versa.
• for Windermere Road - St Peters Road, Gainsborough Road, Onehouse Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closures will operate from:
- 12/08/2026 - 23/08/2026
- 24/08/2026 - 13/09/2026
- 14/09/2026 - 27/09/2026
- 28/09/2026 - 11/10/2026
- 12/10/2026 - 25/10/2026
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
