(Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Road(s) affected:
Chester Road, Daresbury
Delph Lane, Daresbury
Newton Lane, Daresbury
Reason for making the Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of the Order:
Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic:
- One-way
Restriction from Delph Lane to Newton Lane for Creamfields entry & exit.
- Restriction
of Vehicular Traffic from Greenalls Lane, then between Chester Road to A56 Chester Road from 30th August.
- One-way
Restriction for Creamfields entry & exit
Alternative Routes: suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.
Date Order to come into effect: 26 August 2026
Maximum duration of the Order: 18 months from the date the Order comes into effect.
Note: Closure is for Creamfields, access for residents will be maintained. The restrictions are expected for approx. 7 days. For further information contact 07596640958
