What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(MARTHAM, REPPS ROAD) (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (ORDER 202X

Norfolk County Council propose to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 30 miles per hour along the length of road specified in the Schedule below.

The effect of this proposal will be to reduce the speed limit along the length of road specified in the Schedule from a 60mph to a 30mph and thereby extending the 30mph speed limit already in place along Repps Road.

A copy of the draft Order, a plan and Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Hall Plain, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2QF, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.

Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the nplaw Traffic Regulation Order Team by 25th August 2026. They may also be emailed to trafficorders@norfolk.gov.uk
