Mindenhurst Road (S3232) Deepcut Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Further to the issue of a Notice under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 “the Act”, on 31 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(8) of the Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Mindenhurst Road (S3232) Deepcut as extends from its junction with Bracken Hill (S3232) to its junction with Forest Drive (X3243).

Alternative route – 1: Mindenhurst Road and Bracken Hill, or this route in reverse. 2: Mindenhurst Road, Brunswick Road and Deepcut Bridge Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable Skanska UK to facilitate permanent carriageway resurfacing and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 August until 19 July 2027.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained either side of but not through the works site.

Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
