Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 31 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Sundridge Road (D3718) Kingfield as extends from its junction with Howards Road (D3717) to its junction with Elmbridge Lane (D3717).
Alternative route – Howards Road and Elmbridge Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Affinity Water to facilitate a new connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 17 August 2026 for 5 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained either side of but not through the works site. Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
C130 Camphill Road, West Byfleet
Temporary (One-Way) Traffic Order 2026
On 05 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in a southerly direction, in that length of C130 Camphill Road, West Byfleet that extends from its junction with D3759 Maderia Road, to junction of A245 Parvis Road. This Traffic Order is required to enable Connect It Utility Services to carry out electrical utility works on behalf of Leep Utilities and the “Barratt Redrow Development”, in the southbound carriageway of C130 Camphill Road, West Byfleet, between D3759 Maderia Road and A245 Parvis Road. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7am and 5pm, within
2 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary northbound one-way system, which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each, day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents, businesses, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Maderia Road, Station Approach and Old Woking Road.
Saunders Lane (D3680) Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Saunders Lane (D3680) Woking as extends from its junction with Goose Lane (D3781) to its junction with Hook Heath Road (D3680); and 2. suspend “The Surrey County Council Saunders Lane (D3680) Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” insofar as it relates to the length of road in 1.
Alternative route – Blackhorse Road and B380 (Smarts Heath Road), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Circet UK Ltd to facilitate pole replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 2 September 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Heath House Road (D3680) Brookwood
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Heath House Road (D3680) Brookwood which extends from its junction with X3680 Access to Worplesdon Golf Course from Heath House Road eastwards for a distance of 50m. This Order is required to enable McFadden Utilities to carry out reinstatement works, which is anticipated to be completed within 2 days, between 8am and 6pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 24 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained via the signed diversion route. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists, will be maintained when safe to do so and/or under direction of a banksman. Alternative Route – Bagshot Road, Berry Lane and Blackhorse Road.
