What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF HILLINGDON
THE HILLINGDON (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
Hillingdon Council gives notice that on 31st July 2026 it made the above Order to introduce 20mph speed limit zones throughout the following sections of roads:
1) Proposed 20mph zone near Hewens Primary School.
i) Hewens Road, Hillingdon/Hayes
2) Proposed 20mph zone near William Byrd Primary School.
i) Victoria Lane, Hayes
ii) Hudson Road, Hayes
A copy of the Order which will come into operation on 10th August 2026 can be seen by appointment at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge during normal office hours, for six weeks following the date on which this notice is published.
A copy of the Order can be obtained from the Transport & Projects team, by email parkingmanagementschemes@hillingdon.gov.uk.
If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which this Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
