(VARIOUS ROAD) (ROAD CLOSURE & NO WAITING RESTRICTION) (139/67)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council intends to make the above Order.

  1. The effect of the Order will be to close the following roads;

    a. Denzil Avenue, for its entire length (alternative route – Cranbury Avenue)

    b. Cranbury Avenue, for its entire length (alternative route – Denzil Avenue)

    c. Derby Road, for its entire length (alternative route will be advertised locally)

  2. No Waiting at any time will be implemented on both sides of the roads listed in para 1 above.

  3. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for street cleaning and repairs.

  4. The Order will come into force on 10th August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be completed by 30th August 2026.
