Vincents Walk, Southampton - Temporary Road Closure and Taxi Rank Suspension due to Works

(VINCENTS WALK) (ROAD CLOSURE AND TAXI RANK SUSPENSION) (136/67)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council intends to make the above Order.

1. The effect of the Order will be to close the road on Vincents Walk (spur) between its junction with Vincents Walk (spine) and Pound Tree Road.

2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are to facilitate site development deliveries and lifting operations.

3. The alternative route is N/A.

4. The Order will come into force on 10th August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be completed by 26th February 2027.
