SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ARRAS DRIVE/BIRDSALL CLOSE, COTTINGHAM
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Arras Drive/Birdsall Close, Cottingham commencing Monday 24 August 2026 between 09.00 hours and 13.00 hours to repair/replace a damaged manhole cover and frame in the carriageway.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within the same day.
There is no alternative route for traffic affected by this closure. Access will be maintained for residents, pedestrians and emergency services only.
