What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE HALL LANE, POOLS HEAD LANE, BRAILSFORD
WHEN: 24 August to 09 October 2026
WHERE: Hall Lane, for a distance of 200m south from Jct. with A52 Pools Head Lane for a distance of 100m south from Jct. with Hall Lane Brailsford.
REASON: To facilitate gas main renewal and connections.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A52 Ashbourne Road, Burrows Lane, Pools Head Lane.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
