(LAWNSWOOD ROUNDABOUT, LEEDS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because re-surfacing works are to take place as part of the re-modelling of Lawnswood Roundabout (A6120/A660 jct); Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: In the interests of public safety it is considered necessary to prohibit vehicular use of Lawnswood Roundabout, Leeds, at its jcts with A660 Otley Rd and A6120 Ring Rd West Park. Details of the closures are shown in the schedule below. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available as per the schedule below. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
PERIOD OF WORKS/RESTRICTIONS: The works are to take place from 3 August 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. The works requiring road closures are expected to be complete by 7 September 2026. The road will be closed in accordance with the schedule below. Dates are subject to change within the period of the temporary Order.
