(TERMINUS TERRACE)
(LOADING BAY & TAXI RANK) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL made the above Order on 24th July 2026, the effects of which will be:
- To introduce a combined Loading Bay (6am – 9pm) and Taxi Rank (9pm – 6am) in Terminus Terrace, west side, From 18m south of the extended southern kerbline of Oxford Street southwards for 35m (in place of the existing Taxi Rank and Loading Bay, the separate Goods Vehicle Loading Bay and partially in place of the no waiting at any time restrictions).
This Order will come into operation on 11th September 2026.
Copies of the Order, relevant map and statement of reasons can be viewed on the Councils website: https://transport.southampton.gov.uk/TRO or may be inspected Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm at Gateway in the Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
