30 Mph Speed Limit, A684, Bainbridge, Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that on 24/07/26 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph on any length of road specified below.
Schedule - Road In The Village of Bainbridge, 30 Mph Speed Limit
A684, Bainbridge, from a point 44 metres east from its junction with the projected north western kerbline of the C43 (Bainbridge to Stalling Busk Road) in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 147 metres.
A copy of the Order, which comes into force on 03/08/26, may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton, & at Hawes library & customer services centre, The New Marketplace, Hawes, DL8 3RA during normal office hours from 31/07/26 until 04/09/26 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 24/07/26 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
