(PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING AT ANY TIME) AND
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING, MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM - 10AM AND 2PM - 4PM) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is given that the Council intends to make an Order under Sections 1 and 2 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act of 1984") and of all other powers them enabling and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, the effect of which is as set out in the Schedule below.

A copy of the draft Order, plan and statement of reasons can be inspected on the Council's Internet Website https://www.npt.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders-tros  

Any objections should be submitted in writing, setting out the reasons thereof, to reach the Head of Engineering and Transport, The Quays, Baglan Energy Park SA11 2GG by 24 th August 2026.

Schedule 1 - Prohibition of Waiting, Loading & Unloading at any time
1.1 Julian Terrace, Port Talbot (South West Side) From a point approximately 25 meters north west of its junction with Harlequin Road, for a distance of approximately 18 metres in a north westerly direction.

1.2 Newton Avenue, Port Talbot (Both Sides)
From its junction with Rhodes Avenue/Julian Terrace, for a distance of approximately 15 metres in a north easterly direction.

1.3 Julian Terrace, Port Talbot (North East Side)
From its junction with Newton Avenue, for a distance of approximately 13 metres in a south easterly direction.

1.4 Rhodes Avenue, Port Talbot (North East Side)
From its junction with Newton Avenue, for a distance of approximately 13 metres in a north westerly direction.

1.5 Rees Street, Port Talbot (North East Side)
From its junction with Dunraven Street, for a distance of approximately 11 metres in a north westerly direction. 

1.6 Rees Street, Port Talbot (South West Side)
From its junction with Dunraven Street, for a distance of approximately 6 metres in a north westerly direction.

1.7 Dunraven Street, Port Talbot (North West Side)
From a point approximately 8 metres north of its junction with Rees Street, for a distance of approximately 23 metres in a south westerly direction.

1.8 Dunraven Street, Port Talbot (South East Side)
From a point approximately 21 metres south west of its junction with New Street, for a distance of approximately 18 metres in a south westerly then a south easterly direction. 

1.9 Lane Rear of 1 to 41 John Street, Port Talbot (Both Sides)
From its junction with Dunraven Street, for a distance of approximately 4 metres in a south easterly direction.

1.10 Corporation Road, Port Talbot (North East Side)
From a point approximately 16 metres south east of its junction with Dunraven Street, for a distance of approximately 25 metres in a north westerly direction.

1.11 Dunraven Street, Port Talbot (South East Side)
From its junction with Corporation Road, for a distance of approximately 5 metres in a north easterly then an easterly direction.

1.12 Dunraven Street, Port Talbot (North West Side)
From its junction with Corporation Road, for a distance of approximately 9 metres in a north easterly direction.

Monday - Friday (8am - 10am and 2pm - 4pm)

2.1 Marsh Street, Port Talbot (Both Sides)
From its junction with Corporation Road, for a distance of approximately 5 metres in a south westerly direction.

2.2 Corporation Road, Port Talbot (South West Side)
From a point approximately 9 meters south east of its junction with Marsh Street, for a distance of approximately 22 metres in a north westerly direction.
