Devon County Council made these on 5 August to come into force 10 August for Newton Abbot: Devon County Council
(Bovey Road, Newton Abbot) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2026 to introduce PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES on a specified length of Bovey Road; Devon County Council (Various Roads, Newton Abbot) (Speed Limits) Order 2026 to introduce RESTRICTED ROAD/30MPH SPEED LIMIT on specified lengths of Bovey Road & Exeter Road.
The orders & related documents may be seen at devon.cc/tro. Free bookable computer use is available during the opening hours of Devon Libraries. Documents are also available to view during normal office hours at the address below. If you wish to question the validity of the Prohibition of Motor Vehicles order or any of its provisions because it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with, you may within 6 weeks from the date on which the order was made apply to the High Court for this purpose.
