THE OLDHAM - BRIDLEWAY159 SADDLEWORTH
TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2026

The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along that part of Bridleway 159 Saddleworth Strinesdale, Oldham in between Top O’ Th’ Meadows Lane and Holgate Street.

There is no suitable diversion, and none shall be signed.

The Order is to be made to carry out drainage and surfacing works and will be in force for 63 days from 17th August 2026, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
