What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE LICENSING ACT 2003

I Maria Francis give notice that we have applied to Cornwall Council as Licensing Authority for the variation of a Premises Licence in respect of The Three Ferrets

The application is to : The proposed variation is to extend the permitted hours for recorded music indoors and the supply of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises to 09:00-00:00 Monday to Sunday; extend the premises' opening hours to 09:00-00:30 Monday to Sunday; and amend Annex 3, Condition 1 to allow doors and windows to remain open between 10:00 and 18:00 daily. Outside these hours, all doors and windows must remain closed except for immediate access and egress.

The existing restriction prohibiting off-sales of alcohol after 21:00, the existing New Year's Eve permissions and all other licence conditions will remain unchanged.

A responsible authority or other person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by writing to the Licensing Team, Cornwall Council, New County Hall, Truro TR1 3AY or email licensing@cornwall.gov.uk not later than 19/08/2026.

A record of the application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority's address Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) by prior appointment. Details are also at www.cornwall.gov.uk by searching 'List of current premises licence applications'. 

Alternatively, telephone the Licensing Office on 0300 1234 212 It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application.

A person guilty of an offence is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale, which is unlimited.
