Notice is hereby given that on 22 July 2026 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is as follows:
Order 1 – To amend the Bradford on Avon Consolidation Order 2025 as follows:
a) To revoke Map Schedule No. EM22 dated 27 October 2025 and introduce revised Map Schedule No. EM22 dated 3 August 2026 for administrative purposes only with no changes to be made on the ground;
b) To revoke Map Schedule No. EJ20 dated 27 October 2025 and introduce revised Map Schedule No. EJ20 dated 3 August 2026 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at any time on Wine Street, Bradford on Avon – both sides – from a point 17 metres west of its junction with C230 Newtown to a point 92 metres west of that junction.
Order 2 – To introduce Prohibition of Motor Vehicles (except for access) on Wine Street, Bradford on Avon – from its junction with B3108 Winsley Road to its junction with Newtown.
Order 3 – To revoke The County of Wilts (Wine Street, Bradford on Avon) (One-Way) Order, 1965 and re-enact it for administrative purposes to include an exemption for pedal cycles on Wine Street, Bradford on Avon with traffic flowing from B3108 Winsley Road towards C230 Newtown.
A copy of the Orders can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@wiltshire.gov.uk.
Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
The Orders will come into operation on 3 August 2026.
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Byway 34 (Part), West Lavington; from its junction with Byway 7B, West Lavington to its junction with Bridleway 42, West Lavington to enable repairs to byway.
No alternative route is available. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order which was due to expire on 01 August 2026 will now continue in force until 01 February 2027 or until completion of the works, whichever is earliest. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Back Lane (Part), Great Hinton; from its property known as Blue Haze to its property known as No.22 Great Hinton to enable Alpha Road Ltd to carry out new foul connection via excavation and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 24 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 until 28 August 2026.

B) C376 (Part), Westbury; from its property known as No.23 Alfred Street to its property known as No.29 Alfred Street to enable Wessex Water Services to carry out new connection and associated works. Alternative route via C376 (unaffected length) – B3098 – C390 – A350 – C376 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 August 2026 and the closure will be required for 3 days.

C) Macie Drive (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Black Acre for a distance of approximately 15m in a south easterly direction to enable Wessex Water Services to carry out cover repair/replacement works and other associated works. Alternative route via Macie Drive (unaffected length) – Freestone Way – Hatton Way – Macie Drive (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 August 2026 and the closure will be required for 2 days.

D) Upper Marsh Road (Part), Warminster; from its junction with Henford Close to its property known as No.66 Upper Marsh Road to enable Wales & West Utilities Ltd to carry out new gas mains and associated works. Alternative route via Upper Marsh Road (unaffected length) – Lower Marsh Road – Wyle Road – Avon Road – Upper Marsh Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 August 2026 and the closure will be required until 25 September 2026.

E) North Row (Part), Warminster; from its junction with The Avenue for a distance of approximately 60m in a southerly direction to enable Wales & West Utilities Ltd to carry out new gas mains and associated works. Alternative route via Portway – High Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 August 2026 and the closure will be required until 29 August 2026 and then again on 31 August 2026 until 07 September 2026.

F) Brock Street (Part), Warminster; from its junction with South Street to its property known as No.55 Brook Street to enable Openreach to carry out clearance and associated works. Alternative route via Brook Street (unaffected length) – Fore Street – C360 – West Parade – Pound Street – Brook Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 for 3 days.

G) B3353 (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with Westlands Lane to its junction with A365 to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out excavate track in the highway to install HV ducting. Alternative route via A365 – B3019 – A4 – B3353 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 August 2026 and the closure will be required until 06 September 2026.

I) B3108 (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Winsley Road to its junction with Limpley Stoke Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via B3108 (unaffected length) – A36 – A361 – B3105 – B3109 – B3108 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 04 August 2026 and the closure will be required weeknights only between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 until 12 August 2026.

This Order will come into operation on 07 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day.

This Order will come into operation on 03 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 5 days.

This Order will come into operation on 03 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:30 for 5 days.
